Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System, Inc. (NACCS Center) and Sankyu Inc.(Tokyo, Japan) concluded service provider(SP) agreement regarding Advance Filing Rules(AFR) on 2nd April 2013.
Sankyu will start the system service to report electronically through NACCS to Japan Customs on AFR for reporting obligation companies(Vessel Carrier and NVOCC). In cooperation with Japan Customs and NACCS Center, Sankyu Group will develop this new service and further enhance the level of compliance and security and contribute to the development of international trade of Japan.

■Advance Filing Rules The Advance Filing Rules require a vessel operator or a NVOCC to electronically submit to Japan Customs information on maritime container cargoes to be loaded on a vessel intended to entry into a port in Japan,in principle no later than 24 hours before departure of the vessel from a port of loading. The Rules will be implemented in March 2014.
